The newsletter
The brief is a free email publication. Subscribing is optional and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
We aim to publish regularly, but we do not guarantee a fixed schedule, and we may change or end the publication at any time. We do not promise that any email reaches your inbox — delivery depends on your email provider.
Digital products
Our products are digital downloads, sold through Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, receipts, and applicable taxes.
- Your licence. Buying a product grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for yourself or inside your own organisation. You may not resell it, redistribute it, publish it, or bundle it into a product you sell.
- Delivery. Access is provided by download after purchase. Keep your purchase receipt; it is your record of access.
- Refunds. Because these are digital goods delivered immediately, sales are generally final. If something is genuinely broken or you were charged twice, contact us and we will make it right.
- Updates. Where a product is described as receiving updates, later editions are provided at no extra cost to existing buyers.
